Dr. Diwata Bose joined the UC Riverside School of Medicine as an assistant clinical professor in Obstetrics-Gynecology in 2014.

Bose previously served as women's health medical director at Sonoma Valley Hospital. Prior to that she was a member of the faculty at the Aurora-University of Wisconsin OB-GYN residency program, where she taught and supervised OB-GYN and family practice residents.

Bose completed her undergraduate degree and M.D. at the University of the Philippines, graduating from a prestigious integrated arts and medicine program that draws 50,000 applicants for 40 positions. She completed her residency at the Philippine General Hospital, then completed a second residency at the Aurora-University of Wisconsin OB-GYN Residency Program.

In her practice, Bose provides comprehensive women's health care, including pre-conceptual care, obstetrics and infertility. She has special interests in vulvovaginal and gynecologic conditions such as birth control, abnormal vaginal bleeding, fibroids, menopause, and preventive women’s care. She is trained in minimally invasive surgical procedures including vaginal hysterectomy, laparoscopy, and hysteroscopy.

Research Interests

Bose has an interest in a wide variety of women' health topics.  She has made presentations on placenta previa and vulvovaginal conditions. She is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Disease.
