Didactic Schedule

Psychiatry residents' didactic times occur in a small group format, augmented with readings and multimedia content, that allows each class to build upon the knowledge gained as they progress through the curriculum. Self-assessment tools are used to enhance the learning experience throughout the four years of training.

In addition, residents receive regular presentations from community-based programs regarding the innovative services available in Riverside County, including peer support, family advocate and parent support programs.

The didactic times are protected from clinical duties and are supplemented with journal club and grand rounds.
